The great wolves that stalk the forests and mountains have only recently entered the Northern Osyatao lifestyle, becoming sled dogs and aiding in their hunts. They are rewarded greatly by the osyatao, the first to be fed after a hunt. Their colors have slightly shifted from that of their wild counterparts, their fur becoming splotches of white and black and their tails beginning to curl up over their backs.
Felines such as lynxes and bobcats gather outside settlements, watching the rubbish the humans throw out for prey. As such, some have moved into barns and other buildings with stored food where the humans leave them alone. Why drive off what’s eating the pests? Some of the cats are relatively tame and will let humans approach, but most are skittish.
Higher class Aiolians will purchase tiny golems made out of valuable gems. The small mancipium act as accessories, and their owners will often dress them up in decorative outfits. When the golem reaches its expiration date and begins to go mad, they squish the head and bring it back to the maker for renewal.
