In the fall of 56 SC, criers call out in every city, every town, and even a good portion of villages. It is an auspicious moment, conjunction among the stars, or so the seers and astronomers say. The criers bring the good word of the birth of new gods among the pantheon, children of the olde, receiving some of their power, but new domains. The Assembly, a name decided by the growing priest class, for themselves, has come to a consensus as to what they belong to.

Solaris, Goddess of the Sun, daughter of Dóiteáin of Fire and Gaoth of Wind. Holding the domains of warmth, light, and prosperity. The Assembly considers her to be a very important god, and one that will have temples, if not made specifically for them, then transformed in her honour, so that she may guide us all. The drive of Dóiteáin is strong in her daughter, providing warmth to all the world over.

Lunarius, God of the Moon, son of Talamh of Earth and Uisce of Water. Holding the domains of prophecy, bravery, and time. The Assembly considers him to be of lesser importance than the other gods, but mostly because of the waxing and waning nature of the power that he holds. Lacking the steadiness of Earth, and inheriting Uisce’s malleability, Lunarius illuminates the dark when most are unwilling to chance it.

The new God and Goddess have caused quite the stir in the Druidic community, with most rejoicing at their consecration. Their teachings have not been quite created yet, but The Assembly is sure to disseminate that information soon enough.
