Hello! My name is Jules and I'm 17 years old. Along with my boyfriend, Kai we build homes and other buildings. We are capable of building in just about any style, and we make an unstoppable team. Not only will we bring expansive cities and buildings to this server, we will also bring extensive and detailed lore as well. I offer a knowledge in wildlife and species creation, and I wish to add onto the bestiary and perhaps bring more realistic species to the table.
World building experience:
My lore does not go really into history, rather evolution and culture as I am far more interested in speculative evolution and anthropology. I am decent at drawing anatomy of animals and I have written short excerpts of species I have created. I am more a fan of individual character development, roleplaying, and drawing my ideas on paper. My experience with animals is extensive and I use my knowledge to create detailed descriptions of my own original species. I have also developed parts of Ukyalti culture with Kai, as I added an emphasis of artisanal trades and the use of mixing the bone ash of deceased individuals into clay sourced from rivers, as a sign of respect.
Example of work (1):
"The Vatyaneti mountains are only similar to Ukialta by appearance. The Weather is cold and dry, and even the smallest amount of moisture is sucked out of everything. With the bitter weather came illness, and the Ukyalti were quick to adapt to these changes. Breaking free from their old medicines, new herbs were discovered in the mountains that offered far more medicinal properties than any herb that grew in Ukialtan soil. There are many different kinds of illnesses, but the symptoms of each are similar. The mountain's colder air weakened the Ukyaltis's bodies, and the young and elderly grew sick more often than usual. The illnesses affected the young and old in almost the exact same way, And some cases were deadly when not treated in time. These common ailments have a variety of symptoms such as fever, coughing, production of phlegm through nose and mouth, and drowsiness. Most of the time, the remedy of these sicknesses were rest and hot food, but in more severe cases herbs were involved. In some cases, the fever would not subside over night and many victims of this illness would be bedridden for weeks with a fever that would not lower. These fevers could be fatal to the patient, as they cause delirium and confusion, and sometimes this confusion is permanent.
In a desperate measure to prevent the illness from transforming into a more threatening beast, measures were made to stop the disease the moment a fever began. Most fevers are checked by a family member or doctor placing the back of their hand on a patient's forehead. A fever is characterized by a forehead temperature hot enough to cause the family member to rip their hand away from the source in shock, and these high fevers have been called "Mothers' gasp fever" as it was often the mothers of young children who gasped in shock as they pulled their hand back from their sick child's head. There are many medicinal herbs that are used to aid in the lowering of these fevers, or to even break them.
The list of herbs and their medicinal properties are as follows:
. Feverfew - A relative of Chamomile, these daisy-like flowers are used to lower fevers and reduce coughing in patients.
. Saint John's Wort (We can change this name to something else) - A plant that is known to reduce fear in elderly and young patients, It is often ground up in mortar and spoon fed to a sick person.
. Gingko - This plant comes from a very hardy tree. It is believed that the bitter taste from the gingko leaves provide strength to the ill.
. Snake root - This plant is characterized by its snake-like appearance. It grows by the river but can be easily mistaken for a far more deadly plant. It is ground into paste and keeps bed-ridden sores from growing infected. NOT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR ADDER ROOT!
. Chamomile - This plant is brewed into tea and consumed by both the healthy and sick. It aids in sleep.
. Cone flower - This flower can help break fevers. It can be dried and stored in jars and still retain its medicinal properties. It is often brewed into teas and sprinkled into some stews for a floral taste. Eating too much coneflower can cause stomach unrest.
. Marigold - This plant has various uses. It is known as the "doctor's dye" due to its protective properties against disease. The flowers and root are ground into dye or eaten raw by the sick.
. Sheep's ear - This plant soothes the throat and prevents coughing.
. Thyme - It is believed that eating dried thyme brings good dreams and wards off vengeful family spirits.
. Lavender - This plant is hardy and can grow in even the most unforgiving environments. It can bring restful sleep and is used in many different kinds of tea.
. Garlic - Garlic is known to cure sadness in Vatyaneti patients. It was used during the great diaspora many years ago.
. Bergamot - This fragrant plant is used to hide the scent of death. It is often used for young scholars who are still learning how to prepare a body for ritual."

Love your drawings! We do have a set of usual questions, just answer them when you can.
What is/are your favorite colors(s)?
What type of fantasy races are you most interested in?
Do you have a general understanding of progression in this server?
What's your favorite biome to build in?
What's your favorite type of wood in Minecraft? -
What is/are your favorite colors(s)?: Orange, Red, Brown, and Green (I like just about every color except for blue, blue is meh for me)
What type of fantasy races are you most interested in?: DND? Kobolds. I would like to play as one of my own species the Scarlithian though. (I am fine with playing as a human)
Do you have a general understanding of progression in this server?: There is a rank system, that's all I really know of the progression.
What's your favorite biome to build in?: Taiga biomes or mesas, But I am willing to build anywhere.
What's your favorite type of wood in Minecraft?: All of them have a purpose, and I can build with any of them! (Stripped Jungle logs are a bit unattractive though.) -
I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with the progression system just so you know what you're in for :P. There are plenty of non human races around as well, so I wouldn't say you'll be forced into human worldbuilding.
Other than that, you have my vote.

You’re invited to join me in Thálassagorod, a magical and deeply troubled republic. I’ve got plenty of building materials and resources that any realm member can access and some fairly in depth but open ended lore that should let any future vassal get straight into their building and write.
Check out my section of the wiki for more lore: https://candarion.com/wiki/doku.php?id=wiki:realms:thalassagorod
I’m in GMT(UK) time and mostly active during the weekend but if you’d like a tour or even just someone to ask random questions about the server to, feel free to send me a message.
