Resetting the End for Easier Elytra acquisition (REEE)

I am proposing that we reset the end so aside from the farm and main island so that shulkers and other loot are easier to obtain, but you would still have to go out and farm them to get them. This was talked about a while ago, and no one was opposed, but I want to know other's opinions on the matter.

Im against the topic of this post, since elytra are so easy to get, and I want to screw up bryson's title.
For all the other reasons, I would be fine with this at some point in the future. But I don't think we are there yet.
Alternatively, we could also just start making custom end portals to go out in a circle like 20k, 40k, 60k, 80k. Keeps the same end, but creates a pretty big world file. Basically the same concept of the game generated ones, but not sucky

Im divided on the issue. On the one hand I don't like needlessly messing with world gen or the survival experience, but I also don't like the idea of losing a bunch of loot 40k out in the middle of the end after passing several looted end cities.
I personally choose not to venture into the end unless absolutely necessary due to the vast travel distance required to ensure there will be sufficient treasure.

This is also one of my larger points as well. If we cannot do it keeping the end island and grinder intact I dont think we should do it and explore other options.

This is also how I feel. I went to the end exactly once and sine i had no elytra I had to bridge myself out and it was a terrible experience to hit city after city that were totally looted. there was also a point where I encountered a city where ONLY the elytra was taken from the ship and that was a bit frustrating.

@ThunderPony I agree with your points and I am proposing this so that all can get loots, and if you still don't want to venture into the void then others can get to looting easier, improving the resources that we have access to.

My opinion has not changed in the last year. Save the main island/farm and reset the rest.

I know it's feasible to keep the main island intact but even if that wasn't the case, it isn't hard whatsoever to rebuild the endermen farm; they're no reasons why not to reset the end. Resetting the end makes it easier for noobs and regular players alike to get elytra and shulkers. Lieges can stockpile more elytras for their vassal/s, players can easily get more shulkers, noobs can easily get an elytra without resurrecting the ender dragon, overall it's just a better experience.

@Oozoozami I agree with most of what you are saying, but getting the materials to fight the dragon is a whole lot easier than trying to scavenge the end for them, and the dragon is a giant pushover.
