Poems: The Cup Bearer (Ghazal)
Should I watch these days pass through?
Refrain the thirst to see this through?
Let me drink the bright of you
To fill my dreams all night through.
Touch my lips and mark it red
To taste the days all year through.
Strike me blind and force me still
From the truth that passes through.
No longer, I know “Goubran”
God forbid, with you, I’m through.
