    @Darius

    Viscount

    Born of corn and mashed potatoes, in a city ridiculed by the homeless and crimes of stabbing, I have ventured through the sewage and dark alleys to discover Candarion. Originally atheist and alone, I have found my peace and faith in the Fishlord. Praise be.

      Dec 28 (posting a few minutes into the 29th but shut up dont worry about it), my first post yeet.

      The Dyndi have been the subject of misunderstanding and ultimately hatred throughout Myralis since its founding. Their yellow skin, a sickly hue in comparison to the snowy, fair complexion of the Myralians, and their devilish ears, pointed toward the sky, have led to a prominent disdain and ultimately segregation at its highest form. The Dyndi have always been outcasts in Myralian society, spit on and cast aside for centuries. The Dyndi population in Myralis is minimal, as they are forbidden in most cities, with the majority of the population residing within the clans of the Dwytir.

      Within Myralian society, the Dyndi are often homeless drunks, addicts and beggars. Seen as a disgrace by the Dyndi to the East, they are further outcasts of their own homeland. As agile hunters throughout the Dwytir, for some Dyndi, their skills translate well to thievery, making them some of the most cunning thieves and pickpockets of Myralis. While this provides wealth and purpose to many individuals, it also contributes to the bad reputation of the Dyndi, deeming them as mischievous and untrustworthy.

      After centuries of conflict and waging wars, connections between the Myralians and the Dyndi have always been sore, though an era of peace is among the races, as conflicts continue to decline as the generations continue passing. The Yellow Wars, the greatest time of horror in both societies, left terrible scarring that may never heal, though only time will tell.

    • RE: Septimus Unnamed Land Claim

      @beijimon Anyone willing to settle on that island would definitely need septimus' permission and that goes without question, and if he desires to claim the whole island as of now, I doubt that permission would be granted. So I just see it relatively pointless to wait is all.

      @beijimon Id argue it is already reserved if he were to even claim simply half the island. It doesn't even matter if it is used or not, because no one else will ever use it if a realm already sits upon it, so he might as well claim it now. I would see no difference.

      @Iokastos I'd argue though, that considering it is an island, if he reduced part of the island ---- why? No one is going to claim that part of the island regardless. It wouldn't be in the way of anything. Since it's an island, I think it is acceptable. Granted, if the island were 5 times larger, then I'm sure there would be an issue as someone else could possibly claim land there if they wanted, but that isn't the case with this one.

    • RE: Ostaria Land Claim

      @Iokastos I have three prime locations for large cities in the large plains between the dark oak forests. Within the forests, it'll mostly be open land, but on the outer edges I may do a few hamlets. In the space in between large cities, I will fill entirely with farmland and occasional farmhouses / other industries responsible for food production. Last night I just began the process of paving a road to stretch from the north to the south, so I can begin filling the in between land. But yes, I am rather burnt out and would like to begin a new project to get back into my groove and to expand upon lore I wrote last year.
