I am also glad we could come to an agreement on a slightly smaller claim; the precedent thing and all lol

This has got my thumbs up!

I am with the Brycie Boi - if we can get a more detailed map of the current claim you have it'd be easier to gauge if this is a reasonable claim (I am sure it is lol)

    • RE: Resetting land to it's original generation, vote

My vote is a 'Yes' so long as the technical ability to do this is feasible and reasonable.

Because there is so limited space on the Monarch Islands inheritance laws are taken very seriously. All SMSC citizens are entitled to land ownership but they need to apply for the land, first. When a land owner dies their next of kin need to apply for the same land or they forfeit the right to receive it and someone else on the waiting list can claim the land.

Children arent considered to reach adulthood in the SMSC until they serve some time on a boat at sea. The experience doesnt need to be anything dangerous as simple fishing trawlers or island to island trade is more than enough to be considered a worthy adventure!

Due to the deep nautical traditions in the SMSC tattoos and tattoo culture is extremely prevalent on the Monarch Islands. It is common to see people get tattoos of the first ship they served on and, for more experienced sailors, tattoos commemorating stories, encounters and journeys they had out at sea. Often members of the Navy or Marines get tattoos signifying rank once they retire.

Tattoos are also common for those who keep their feet on solid ground as tattoo traditions from the surrounding nations have found a firm place in the Monarch Islands as well.

The SMSC does not have an official language, instead it continues to codify a sort of 'Trade Common' that merchants and sailors have been using in the East Sea for decades. Cinturn (Isaran), however, is a very popular language spoken on the Monarch Islands as a large portion of its citizenry comes from Isara.

Any children born on the Monarch Islands to non-citizen parents are considered Honorary Citizens; giving them certain rights under SMSC law. The 'Honorary Citizen' title does not transfer down from parent to child, however. Any children born to parents who are citizens of the SMSC, whether on or off the islands, are still considered full citizens of the SMSC.

      Addendum
The distinction between non-citizen, honorary citizen and full citizen are very important in regard to how laws are applied to individuals in the SMSC.
